The Egyptian society for quality in health care adopts the following principles:-
- ESQua is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, working independently in collaboration with all concerned parties according to the Egyptian laws.
- The society shall be committed to scientific approaches to ensure faunas in decision making, taking into consideration the socio-economic changes in the Egyptian society.
- The society recognizes that Egypt is part of the world and its development is linked to international development. Therefore, it is essential to take into consideration international agreements that address the quality issues.
- The society believes that cooperation, coordination and team work is the best way to accomplish its goals.
- The economic independence of the society is one of the most important factors that affect the freedom of decision making. Efforts shall be made to increase the financial capabilities of the society.
- The society believes in market economy and the role of private sector however, the society confirms its commitment to the improvement of the public health care sector to enable it to compete with the private sector thus ensuring quality of health care for the people.
